Design Curiosities is now: Curiosity and Curiosities

A Stopgap as Design Curiosities becomes Curiosity and Curiosities

curiosityandcuriosities

In an effort to bring more unique and thoughtful content to our site we’ve been discussing and working on what changes we need to make. As those changes are taking place behind the scenes, and to let you know that we are still here, you can find us at Curiosity and Curiosities. We are sharing visual content as a stopgap for this transition.

Field Guide: Holiday Gifts for the Gents

Hudson Made, Prospectror Co.

Best Made Co., Bully Boy, Ball and Buck, Papa Fox Trot, Fast Company, Poler

Daniel Goodman

Stag Austin, J.Crew

A holiday gift guide for gents, or what I like to call Steven’s wish list.

A Colonel Conk shave mug because when he shaves it should be an experience not a chore. In the meantime some beard oil because that beard isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. A badge to add to the collection he wants start. A sampler pack of whiskey, vodka, and rum from Bully Boy because they are a local distillery and he has been meaning to try it. Stuff to go on his keychain because last year the airport decided to keep his swiss army knife (only on the way back). A geotail model because he loves everything about outer space. A subscription to Fast Company (finally). A Poler Stuff beanie because we don’t really need the napsack. A new NASA mug because you accidentally broke the one his brother gave him. A lighter etched by Jon Contino just because it is awesome, and socks because he has worn holes in most of his favorites.

Field Guide: Holiday Gifts for the Ladies

Rifle

Kate Spade, CB2, Crate and Barrel, J.Crew, Top Pot, Hudson Made

Bhldn

Anthtopologie

A holiday gift guide for the women in your life.

A Rifle calender to brighten up the kitchen, and a journal to jot down thoughts. Perfume from Kate Spade because it smells so good. A modern hourglass to keep track of time in 15 minute intervals. A pastry slab to cover up the counter-tops that are less than perfect. An anchor iPhone case because let’s face it, it gets dropped a lot. A cookbook from Top Pot Doughnuts because it is the best place in Seattle. Some cutting board oil because every cutting board needs it apparently (oops). A beautiful wine stopper just because, a mug for tea, and a scarf to keep warm.

Happy Christmas from Maddison Graphic. Loving the unexpected color choice on this one. No green or red here.
